Day 1: Penguin Original (McVitie’s)
For the start of the task, I P..P..P… Picked up a Penguin. Milk chocolate covered biscuit bar filled with a chocolate cream. I remember eating these when I was little. One thing I noticed is all the wrappers in the pack are red but in the past, I think they used to be different colours. Maybe they changed this as there are more flavours now and each colour is associated with a flavour. Each wrapper comes with a terrible joke on the back. I suppose Christmas cracker joke writers need another job to make money for the rest of the year.
The penguin tastes a bit like a bourbon biscuit on steroids. The coating gives it that extra chocolateness.
The pack I bought contained 7 bars. I just love them I can’t stop at eating the one.
Each bar has 130 calories.
